Hi Naturers,

Another shot of the salamander I met in the Three-Source Valley near Garadna ranch, on 11th of April (the first pic is here. You can also find the specie info there). I'd like to dedicate it to the herpetologists (or future herpetologist, except for the professor) on the site, boreocypriensis, Professor Bayram Göcmen, "everyone's Bayram" - a true Friend of all of us, plus his 3 students: Bahadir (bahadir), Deniz (xTaurusx) and Mehmet (zulfu). We had pleasure to see Your shots, read Your thoughtful critiques, so my Turkish Friends this little dedication is the least You deserve. I hope You'll like the pic.

As a workshop You can see another salamander specimen, captured the same day, but with orange spots instead of yellow. I've never seen a salamander like that before, only the black / yellow one, so asked Bayram if this is a subspecie, but he answered only a color variation of Salamandra salamandra, and it isn't as rare as I thought. Dear Friend, thanks for the info again.

No significal PP. Thanks for looking and reading, have a nice weekend, László (Ladislao, Wladyslaw etc.)
