This was Turnbull National Recreation area taken today, October 14, 2009. It rained most of the morning and since we had such a dry summer and hot, the last few cold days have brought out the colours. Turnbull is a few hundred thousand square acres of wildlife and the only man entrance in via a foot trail. One is not allowed to walk of the trail as many birds here are federally protected as are the wetlands...

This was shot with a hand held Leica D-Lux4. It is much better---about 3 times better, than its predecessor.D-Lux 3

I use my GPS device when traveling in the woodlands as with my legs, I can walk no further than about 1/4 mile. I am now half way to my goal of getting a new mobility device and look forward to it...meanwhile...this is how the same image looks from the drivers seat of my Ford Focus..remember we drive in the left hand seat in the US.
