Lion Cubs (50)
|As mentioned before, while we were in Etasha National Park in 2011, we followed a pride of Lions which consisted of a juvenile male, two females and eight lion cubs. After a Kudu kill early that morning and feasting, paying the water hole a visit they all retired to the shade. As I started my vehicle to move to another spot, six of the cubs jumped up and stared at the commotion. Luckily for me, my beanbag and camera were still on my vehicle’s window. Signs of blood can still be seen on them as they fed from the carcass. I know that "fill flash" could have improved the image, but the distance was just too great. No cropping was done.|
