Now that the landscape is dry and days are warm in Israel, it is nice to go back to the cool rainy days of winter, like in this pic of a local wild fritillary from the top of Mt. Tabor (the traditional site of the transfiguration of Jesus) in the Lower Galilee. Another shade of a fritillary and two nice plants, about 60 cm tall, can be seen on the WS. |
