(13387) | Centaurea pumilio is a rare sand-loving, very low, thistle species of the Eastern Mediterranean. The flowers are up to 40 mm in diameter. It is fond on several places at the beaches south of Haifa. it is shown here before sunset.
Centaurea pumilio is included in the IUCN Red Data List in the category of threatened plants.
