If I'm not mistaken this is Crocus speciosus, or Bieberstein's crocus, a species native to northern and central Turkey, the Caucasus, northern Iran, Crimea. It is used in Europe as an ornamental plant. I photographed it in the Botanical Garden of Lund, Sweden, growing on the lawn, amidst the fallen leaves. See also the WS.

The pix were taken with my little Sony RX100.
