We had a very long, hot, and dry summer. We had a little rain some two weeks ago. First signs of autumn are now felt and seen, like these flowers, first appearing at the higher altitudes. Like all early bloomers, the leaves will appear later, after the first rains.

These rather rare flowers are about 3 cm in diameter. The WS shows a side-view of another specimen.

These were taken with my little Sony RX-100.

Extremely sorry to put marks on your Photograph. But to reply you, I had no choice here. Please don't mind.
