An Australian Painted Lady (Vanessa kershawi) with a wingspan of around 5cm. This is a profile of individual I post yesterday. Here you can clearly see the proboscus with theflowers of the Round-fruited Tea-tree (Leptospermum sphaerocarpum).
Hope you all have a wonderful New Years eve and I'll see you all again next year.

Well Chris the only things I did was turning it 80 degrees to the right side. I cropp it and I bring it back till 750 and I put a little frame around. I used a mild contrast, and I made it a little sharper. I hope you like it

I used the Blur tool in PS on the background and applied the intellisharpen II plugin to sharpen the Butterfly. The difference is not spectacular but enhance the subject in my point of view. Hope it helps.
