Yellow Death (16)
It's so nice to be back on TN and be able to post shots again. Work and other circustances have kept me away, with the occasional few minutes for a quick glance. Now I hope to be able to have the time to afford to my favourite site, with its wonderful members.
This posting is of dramatic moment, with a flower spider - Thomisus Onustus in the process of devouring the insides of this poor bee. When I first approached the flower, the bee was all I saw, then I realized something was not right and saw the spider BENEATH it, practically impossible to see [see workshop]. It was only when it turned the bee round, probably to suck fron a different position did I get this better perspective.
Shot was take at f11 because of the Raynox's limited DOF and the camera supported on a monopod [got one at last].
Thanks for looking
